The Glorious History of Paramount International School Dhaka (PISD)
To address the demand for a true Paramount International School Dhaka, PISD Moghbazar was established in 2021. The school has expanded since then in terms of its student body, the variety of topics offered, and the lecturing faculty. Five specially constructed, distinctively designed buildings for instruction make up the school’s impressive collection of amenities. It now has 25 professors and 250 pupils, all of them are from different countries. One of the biggest accomplishments is that today’s PISD students are among the top scorers in the world in Bangladesh for the GCE O and A Level exams, earning them recognition on a global scale. The school has a stellar reputation in the neighborhood and is a member of the Round Square network of international schools as an associate member.
PISD is a school that has been approved by University of Cambridge International Examinations in the UK. Our teaching staff, which is both local and international, is highly qualified and enthusiastic. To guarantee an international level of instruction at PISD, educational advisers from the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) make two visits each year. Workshops are led by qualified teacher-trainers in a variety of topic areas. It is also common practice to undertake internal professional development programs and teacher evaluations.
OIS is a school that has been approved by Edexcel and the University of Cambridge International Examinations in the UK. Our teaching staff, which is both local and international, is highly qualified and enthusiastic. To guarantee an international level of instruction at OIS, educational advisers from the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) make two visits each year. Workshops are led by qualified teacher-trainers in a variety of topic areas. It is also common practice to undertake internal professional development programs and teacher evaluations. English, Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, Statistics, Further Mathematics, Art & Design,Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Accounting, Business Studies, Computing, Applied ICT, and Law are all available as A-level options for pupils.
Parallel to academics, PISD is committed to the personal development of each student. Extracurricular activities (ECAs) should, of course, never interfere with academics. For this reason, we have chosen to create a distinct ECA program that will only be used for extracurricular activities on Saturdays and beyond regular school hours. From dance, drama, debate, recitation, and news presentations to music, art and design, youth development, games and sports, martial arts, etc., students can select as many ECAs as they can fit into their schedule.
Better school management and an effective working system are made possible by school automation software.
Additionally, the school has incorporated specialized software that makes it simple for students and parents to check grades, accounts, messages from the school, and other internet materials. The school software may be used by teachers and administrators to monitor classroom activity, organize courses, create quizzes, administer online examinations, compile results, and more.
