Age: Age is an important aspect of the Admission process. PISD has an O’level and A’level curriculam. So if candidates are not a perfect age for O’level or late candidates, we can’t proceed with the process. You should be a fresh candidate not late.
Achievement Level: Another requirement for admission is the capability of the competition’s achievement level. We always focus on energetics and desired candidates who want to get success themselves. So if the candidates have the strength of the desire for achievements. Please welcome to our PISD.
Mental and Physical Maturity Level: Maturity is the most important aspect to judge a candidate for any competition. Without maturity of mental, physical, attitude, eneregetics and good-minded candidate can’t assure the seat of PISD. So be aware of these aspects of a candidate before submitting the admission form.
Despite the fact that PISD has a rolling admissions process, we advise families to apply well in advance of their travel plans to Bangladesh, ideally before the conclusion of their current semester.
academic year
There are two semesters in our school year. The first ran from the middle of August to the middle of December, and the second from the start of January to the start of June.
Children of U.S. Government personnel in grades Kindergarten through twelve, whose fees are funded by the U.S. Government, and who match the school’s entry standards, will be accepted automatically to the school due to PISD’s close relationship with the United States Embassy in Bangladesh. Children of U.S. Government employees who satisfy the entry standards for Pre-Kindergarten and whose tuition would be covered by the U.S. Government (in grades K–12) are given precedence. Please be aware that all families, including U.S. Embassy personnel, must complete and submit online applications ahead of time, ideally by the end of the semester before arrival in Bangladesh.
All necessary papers must be presented online for your submitted application to begin the application review process. The evaluation procedure requires the use of previous school reports. Applications won’t be evaluated until all necessary paperwork is submitted. Please be advised that families applying to PISD cannot request or collect school records from other schools on their behalf through our admissions staff. Families are required to gather and submit all paperwork themselves.
Learning Supports:
Given the services available, our educational community only accepts applicants who can be supported by our inclusionary approach. Each division (ES, MS, and HS) offers support in order to address a range of requirements. Although PISD does not alter the curriculum for kids, we do offer adjustments in accordance with known needs. When determining and addressing students’ needs, the three divisions of PISD work cooperatively. We are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to cater to the requirements of students who require EAL, counseling, and learning support services for learning challenges. In order to best meet each child’s learning requirements, we hold ourselves accountable for modifying teaching and working with colleagues. We also advocate for curriculum integration and student participation.
