First Aid Services for All

Fist Aiding Staff on Campus
A specialized health office run by licensed, experienced nurses is available by PISD during school hours. For students, families, and community members on campus, they offer fundamental medical services, first aid treatment, and emergency assistance. In relation to vaccine requirements and pupils with chronic conditions that require monitoring at school, such as diabetes and asthma, the office keeps health records and follows up with families.

  • the health office.
    The school nurse is in charge of making sure that staff members are prepared to handle emergencies and help pupils who have chronic conditions including seizures, asthma, and diabetes.
  • The health office keeps in touch with student athletes, their families, and instructors on serious sporting injuries, such as concussions and broken limbs, that may necessitate limited academic participation throughout the recovery time. PISD First Aiding offer medical coverage for all athletic events.
  • For children in grades 1 through 5, grade 7, and grades 9 and 10, the health office conducts yearly vision screenings. Hearing tests are offered upon request from the homeroom teacher, learning support, or parents.
  • The PISD health office actively works to prevent the spread of contagious diseases like influenza and ensures that staff and students are informed about infection control procedures.
